PROJECTS

As we work to uphold the mission of ECHO - Edson Cultural Heritage Organization, staff members work through a variety of museum and community projects. Museum projects work to collect, record, and preserve artifacts and information that are significant to the history of the Red Brick School, the Town of Edson, and schools within West Central Alberta. Community projects allow us to promote and encourage arts, culture, and history within our community. Through these projects, the Red Brick Arts Centre and Museum is able to partner with a multitude of other organizations within our community.

Land Acknowledgment

In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, we acknowledge that the Red Brick Arts Centre and Museum is located on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional and ancestral lands of the Nehiyawak, Saulteaux, Siksika, Piikuni, Kainai, Dene, Nakota Sioux, and the Otipemisiwak (Métis) Nations.

We honour the knowledge of this land, the Elders and youth which gather here, and our ancestors who have gathered here for centuries.
