LOCAL AUTHORS PROJECT

Edson and the surround area is lucky to have many talented, published local authors. As a way to promote the local literacy landscape, the Red Brick Arts Centre and Museum is proud to currently host upwards to 10 local authors within our gift shop and online store. Each author has a posted biography in the gift shop to accompany their books.

We are always looking to expand our selection! If you, or someone you know, has published a book and would like to be a part of the project, we would love to connect with you. Contact our office via phone 780-723-3582, or by email at echored@telus.net to have your books included in this selection.

Land Acknowledgment

In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, we acknowledge that the Red Brick Arts Centre and Museum is located on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional and ancestral lands of the Nehiyawak, Saulteaux, Siksika, Piikuni, Kainai, Dene, Nakota Sioux, and the Otipemisiwak (Métis) Nations.

We honour the knowledge of this land, the Elders and youth which gather here, and our ancestors who have gathered here for centuries.
