The Edson Cultural Heritage Organization​ is a non-profit organization that operates the Red Brick Arts Centre and Museum in the trust of the people of Edson and area. Its purpose is to:

​

a) increase awareness of the arts by working and acting as an umbrella organization for arts organizations and individual artists in their artistic and cultural endeavors whenever possible.​

​

b) to preserve the historical integrity of the building and to collect, record and preserve artifacts significant to the Red Brick School, the Town of Edson and schools within West Central Alberta from the period of 1910 to present day.

Memorial and cash donations can be made to Edson Cultural Heritage Organization to help with the ongoing operations of the Red Brick Arts Centre and Museum. Charitable receipts will be issued upon request.

The Edson Cultural Heritage Organization is always looking for new members to join the Red Brick Group. If you are interested in preserving Edson's history, creating culture today and ensuring the future of the iconic Red Brick, contact the staff at the Red Brick today.

Land Acknowledgment

In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, we acknowledge that the Red Brick Arts Centre and Museum is located on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional and ancestral lands of the Nehiyawak, Saulteaux, Siksika, Piikuni, Kainai, Dene, Nakota Sioux, and the Otipemisiwak (Métis) Nations.

We honour the knowledge of this land, the Elders and youth which gather here, and our ancestors who have gathered here for centuries.
